Zhoushi Machinery is supporting the construction of a new automated layer farm for Shanxi Zhengjin Animal Husbandry in Shanxi Province. Farm Planning and Capacity Design
The Shanxi Zhengjin project covers 122.98 mu and is planned as a comprehensive automated layer farming base. The overall layout includes four major functional areas: a pullet brooding and growing area, a laying hen production area, an egg processing and storage area, and a manure treatment with organic fertilizer production area.

The project plan includes 3 pullet houses, each covering 1,500 square meters. Each house is designed to accommodate 150,000 pullets aged 55 to 60 days, providing a strong foundation for future flock transfer and production management.

The laying area includes 12 layer houses, each with a floor area of 1,500 square meters. Each house is designed for 150,000 laying hens, supporting large-capacity and standardized egg production.

To support post-production operations, the project also includes a 3,600-square-meter egg storage facility together with an egg handling and processing line, helping improve egg collection efficiency, storage management, and product handling standards.
Manure Treatment and Organic Fertilizer Production Area
In addition to the production sections, the farm plan includes a dedicated area for chicken manure treatment and organic fertilizer production, which supports cleaner farm management and better resource utilization.



Current Construction Progress
At present, 2 pullet houses and 1 layer house are under construction. The overall project is progressing according to plan, with each stage advancing steadily and in coordination with the farm’s long-term development goals.
